The not so New House

I suppose it was my fault for thinking that in our last house, we lost roof tiles in a gale about 15 years ago, and that I was pleased we had moved. Well, the wind wasn't so bad here and this is a brand new house so that wont be a problem, will it! No, of course not.

We were pleased to hear that the builder will be out as soon as the wind dies down and hopefully before any more tiles come off. The large and heavy ridge tile narrowly missed a car parked opposite and fortunately, no one was walking on the pavement at the time. The wind wasn't that high, so many people were still about when it happened.
